One of the things about being with Adrian was that you got to see sides of the man nobody else would ever see.

Eddie had woken up to the sounds of soft laughter and the TV drifting in from the living room. Putting on his dingy old bathrobe - the one Adrian didn't quite dare to throw out - he'd padded over to the living room to find Adrian sitting cross-legged on the couch, watching cartoons.

Adrian smartest-man-on-the-goddamn-planet Veidt was giggling his head off over some Bugs Bunny cartoon. Fancy that.

Grinning, Eddie flopped down next to him: "Y'know, I'd have expected something like opera, Ozy... you're losing your touch."

Adrian gave him a sideways glance, still giggling like a kid: "Eddie, this is opera. Have you ever heard of the Barber of Seville?"

Eddie shook his head, laughing, and reached over to ruffle Adrian's hair: "Leave it to you to turn toons into something snobby..."
