Also... I have this little problem...

It's day three and I'm running into the same problem I ran into last year. The lack of the plot. Only this year, it's combined with something that is driving me absolutely crazy: the insane idea to switch stories, and write something else instead. Because, well, there is another story that has been lying around in my head and would practically write itself aaaaaaaaargh why didn't I do it from the beginning??? But, if I switch over to the other one now, I'm going to feel bad. I'm going to feel like I'm leaving my puppy (the current story) out to die in the cold... also, it does have its moments, and I like being able to switch between the two storylines and stuff. Sigh. A loser is me. For trying to write a murder mystery where all I know is that yes, we do have a victim, but we don't know how she got there. We being both my forensic anthropologist main chars and myself. I guess I'll just have to hope that Nia will lead the way.

So:
Dear muse no.1(you know who you are, baby):
I promise to write your biography for NaNo next year, mkay? But please, shut up now.

Dear inner critic:
stfu bastard!!!

This is exactly what nanowrimo scares the crap out of me.

I take decades to write a story. Not... a month. Or however long nano runs.
