I think I have a case of writer's schizophrenia. Not writer's multiplicity - I have enough of that already ;).
What brought me to consider this? Easy. The fangirl voice. The part of me that's a rabid fangirl, and loves non-canon OTPs. Oh, not the totally not canon OTPs, I leave those for the really rabid fangirls. But the "this was never explicitly stated, but you know, there really are a few hints that char X and char Y could really hit it of, if only circumstances had been different".
That fangirl part of me has informed me that one day, it would like to write an AU version of the NaNo Novel, in which there is a happy ending for Nia and Nehar. Preferrably one that sets a firm "x" or "/" between them, as in "Nia/Nehar" :P.
Well, I have shut it back in its den for now (after all, the plot demands human sacrifices!), and if it's nice, it will get a hint of anthropologist romance at the very end ;).
